Messages obtained by the Federal Police on the cell phone of former banker Daniel Vorcaro reveal that he instructed his then partner Angelo Silva to restrict access to a contract signed between Banco Master and the law firm of lawyer Viviane Barci de Moraes, wife of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court. In a conversation on April 1, 2025, Vorcaro asked where the document was and received Angelo's response that he would need to check. Vorcaro then ordered: "Nobody has access. You get it and don't let anyone have access to this", to which Angelo replied that he would locate the contract the next day.
The contract in question provided for the payment of R$ 131 million to the law firm of Viviane Barci de Moraes over three years, with a monthly value of R$ 3.6 million. The document, revealed by the newspaper GLOBO in December 2025, had a broad scope and provided for consulting services.
Daniel Vorcaro is the former banker of Banco Master, who recently became the target of PF investigations related to alleged suspicious financial transactions. Angelo Silva was his partner at the time of the conversations. Alexandre de Moraes's wife, Viviane Barci de Moraes, is the lawyer responsible for the law firm that would receive the payments provided for in the contract.
The case generates controversy because it directly involves Supreme Court Minister Alexandre de Moraes, since his wife was the beneficiary of the million-dollar contract with Banco Master. The messages obtained by the PF suggest there was a deliberate attempt to conceal the document, raising questions about the nature of the relationship between the bank and the law firm of the minister's wife.
