The teachers of Castellón returned this Tuesday to the classrooms to prepare the start of the school year for more than 98,000 students in the province. However, this return still drags part of the claims that led to an indefinite educational strike at the end of the past school year. The teachers expressed their malaise regarding complementary activities, such as excursions or pool activities. The Coordinator of Teaching Assemblies of the Valencian Country explained that they are not questioning the outings themselves, but rather the absence of a sufficient framework of guarantees, legal security and protection for the teaching staff. This position emerges amid ongoing tensions between educators and the education administration following the previous year's strikes.
