Daniel Vorcaro, former owner of Banco Master, consulted Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court, about the possibility of leaving Brazil two days before being arrested by the Federal Police. In a message sent on November 15, 2025, a Saturday, Vorcaro asked: "Do you think I should already be out by Monday?" Forty-eight hours later, on the evening of November 17, he was arrested at São Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos, when trying to board a private jet.
The arrest occurred within the scope of Operation Compliance Zero, which investigated the issuance of fake credit securities by Banco Master. The messages between Vorcaro and Moraes were recovered by the Federal Police from analysis of the ex-banker's phone. The content is part of the investigation whose secrecy was lifted on this Tuesday (1st) by Minister André Mendonça, of the STF.
On Sunday (16), one day before being arrested, Vorcaro sent new messages to Moraes. The details of this second contact were not fully disclosed in the available portion of the article. The prior consultation with the minister raises questions about the possible improper use of communication channels between the ex-banker and a member of the STF.
