The Regional Government and Causa Social - Association for the Promotion of Citizenship launched the 5th edition of the 'Well Care' project, which aims to strengthen skills, professionally value and promote continuous qualification of home care assistants in the Region. The initiative takes place over the next three months and covers approximately 500 professionals.
The project includes certified training in fundamental areas such as First Aid and Prevention and Identification of Elder Abuse. This training aims to prepare home care assistants to deal with emergency situations and identify signs of violence or neglect against the elderly.
Causa Social is the driving entity of this initiative, working in partnership with the Regional Government to implement the programme. The project recognises the importance of home care assistants in caring for the elderly population of the Region, providing them with essential tools and knowledge for the exercise of their profession.
