The traditional Tractor and Agricultural Machinery Parade returned to Penafiel on the last day of the 45th AGRIVAL, which ran from August 21 to 30. The initiative took place on Sunday, August 30, with a gathering at Campo da Feira, then proceeding through the streets of the city.
The parade has been part of the AGRIVAL program for several years and maintains a direct connection to the agricultural roots that gave rise to the event. The organization has not yet released an official number of participants for this edition, although in previous years it has gathered hundreds of participants.
The 2026 edition featured more than 350 exhibitions and the closing program also included the Miss AGRIVAL Contest and programming dedicated to the municipalities of Paços de Ferreira and Baião. Over the different editions, the Tractor and Agricultural Machinery Parade has become one of the initiatives associated with the identity of AGRIVAL.
Agriculture continues to play a central role at AGRIVAL, which brings together initiatives related to agricultural machinery and equipment, livestock production and traditional products, as well as contests and other activities related to the sector.
