The reasons for Mendonça to lift the secrecy of the PF report that mentions Moraes

oglobo1 September 2026 at 18:17

Minister André Mendonça determined the lifting of the secrecy of the Federal Police report that revealed new messages exchanged between Daniel Vorcaro and Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court.

In the dispatch signed, Mendonça pointed out that the inevitable path of the records leads to the analysis of the case by the full STF, which should occur in a public and transparent manner, in a plenary session of the Board.

The date of the session should be defined by the president of the Court, Minister Edson Fachin. The PF report contained new messages between Vorcaro and Moraes that motivated Mendonça's decision.
