The Minister of Education acknowledges that the lack of teachers at the start of the school year is a structural problem. This position comes at a time when the National Federation of Teachers (Fenprof) denounces the existence of more than 2,600 unfilled positions in schools.
According to the minister, the solution to this situation involves three main measures: strengthening teacher training, implementing overtime hours, and splitting schedules. These measures aim to address the shortage of teachers that affects the educational system.
Fenprof, the organization representing teachers, has been warning about this issue, publicly denouncing the high number of vacancies that remain unfilled at the beginning of the school year.
The minister emphasized that this is a structural problem that requires a systemic solution, not just temporary measures.
