The Western military alliance and the European Union demonstrated immediate support for Berlin, while Russian authorities promised to reprimand any hostile action. German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt stated that the means used to perpetrate the sabotage act in Leipzig are familiar from other hybrid operations conducted by Russia and its war against Ukraine, mentioning the technological and military components of the drone used in the attack.
