Day before being arrested, Vorcaro asks Moraes to arrange meeting with Galípolo: 'They can't drop an atomic bomb at the solution moment'

Banker Daniel Vorcaro sent a message to Supreme Federal Court (STF) Minister Alexandre de Moraes one day before being arrested by the Federal Police, asking the magistrate to facilitate a meeting with the president of the Central Bank, Gabriel Galípolo, to resolve financial pending matters. In the text, Vorcaro stated that they were about to "drop an atomic bomb" at the moment they were trying to resolve his institution's problems.

The message was found in a note in the banker's phone notepad. In the text, Vorcaro said: "Try to get Galípolo to receive me and I'll present what we're going to file this week. We'll resolve everything. They can't drop an atomic bomb at the solution moment, it makes no sense for anyone. Not for him, not for the government, for the economy, or for Brazil."

According to PF investigations, Vorcaro photographed the record and sent it to Moraes' contact on November 16. The banker's financial institution would be liquidated by the Central Bank two days later, on November 18, 2025.
