The Public Security Police (PSP) identified seven elderly people in social risk situations in the Algarve region, as part of a proximity project dedicated to the elderly population.
The project is called "Solidarity Has No Age – PSP With the Elderly" and is running until September 25.
In total, eight elderly people were flagged in the Algarve region, of which seven presented social risk situations that warranted monitoring.
This project demonstrates the PSP's effort to identify and support vulnerable elderly people in the Algarve, through proximity and solidarity actions.
