Dany Pinheiro is the new Operations Director of McDonald's Portugal, succeeding Pedro Marques. Pedro Marques will now take on the Operations and Franchising Direction of McDonald's Spain.
Dany Pinheiro began his connection with the fast-food chain at age 16, in Canada. After transitioning to the structure in Portugal, he held operational roles in restaurants and later worked as a Consultant and Operations Manager.
Pedro Marques leaves the leadership of operations in the national market, a position he held since 2022, to join the Spanish structure of the brand. Marques began his career at the company as an employee at a franchised restaurant, later holding positions in the areas of Operations, Training, and Management.
McDonald's Portugal's General Director, Albert Ahumada, stated that these appointments are a recognition of the existing talent in Portugal and the responsibility to continue developing it.
