The municipality of Caminha has begun the process of improving the public lighting network on Rua de Santo António and Rua da Igreja Velha, in the Union of Freguesias of Caminha and Vilarelho, with the awarding of the respective repair and improvement contract.
This intervention is part of a broader set of works that the municipality has been carrying out throughout the municipality, focusing on the modernization of the public lighting network, energy efficiency, and the improvement of safety conditions in urban and rural spaces.
The municipal investment amounts to 36,164.43 euros, plus VAT at the legal rate in force, with an execution period of 30 days after the work is officially handed over.
The objective is to enhance the efficiency and reliability of lighting on these two streets, contributing to better safety, mobility, and quality of life conditions for residents and users of these public spaces.
