A law student was arrested on Monday night (31st) in São Bernardo do Campo, in ABC Paulista, after posing as a judge during a police stop. Officers reported that he was driving at a speed incompatible with the road.
According to the police report obtained by the G1 news portal, Selmo dos Santos Pereira presented a document with signs of tampering and claimed to be a judge of the Third Criminal Court of Santo André, in ABC. He also said he taught classes at the Law School of São Bernardo do Campo.
During the stop, a passing driver recognized the man and greeted him. When questioned by the officers, the woman stated that Selmo is, in reality, a student and not a judge.
