E-REDES – Distribuição de Eletricidade, S.A. will carry out intervention and maintenance work on the electricity distribution network in different locations of the municipality of Sintra, between Tuesday, September 1st and Friday, September 4th. The operation will imply the point interruption of electricity supply in several parishes and localities, between 05:00 and 06:00.
On Tuesday, September 1st, the cuts will affect streets in the parish of Colares, including Avenida do Atlântico, Bairro Regate and several streets in the surrounding area. On Wednesday, September 2nd, it will be the turn of the parish of Pêro Pinheiro, with interruptions on streets such as Rua David Carrasqueira and Largo Basílio Pardal Monteiro.
On Thursday, September 3rd, the work will take place in the parish of São João das Lampas, covering streets such as Avenida José Félix da Costa and Rua Ferreira de Castro. On Friday, September 4th, the affected parishes will be Terrugem, Algueirão Mem Martins, São João das Lampas and the Union of Parishes of Sintra, with multiple streets in each locality to be intervened.
Due to unforeseen situations, the work may exceptionally be extended until 15:00. This information is reported by Correio de Sintra, which states that residents of the affected areas should consult the official channels of E-REDES for more details about the maintenance work.
