Putin declares solidarity with Iran and says he is providing "necessary assistance" amid war with the USA and Israel

The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, declared this Tuesday Moscow's solidarity with the Iranian people, at a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian.

Putin stated that Russia is providing Iran the "necessary assistance" in the context of the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel.

The meeting between the two leaders occurs at a time of military escalation in the Middle East, where Iran is in open confrontation with Washington and Tel Aviv.
