The Feast of Alvarinho and Fumeiro in Melgaço will take place between April 30 and May 2, at the Training Center, for its 33rd edition. The event returns to celebrate two of the most emblematic products of the Minho territory: Alvarinho wine and the traditional fumeiro of the region.
The initiative brings together producers from the Monção and Melgaço sub-region, offering visitors the opportunity to discover and taste different references of Alvarinho, as well as a selection of traditional products. In the last edition, over 100 wines were available for tasting, presented by 34 Alvarinho producers, accompanied by fumeiro producers and artisanal craftspeople.
With over three decades of existence, the festival remains one of the municipality's reference initiatives, attracting visitors interested in discovering Melgaço's products and traditions. The event also presents itself as a moment of valorization of local identity.
