The socialist deputy Marcos Perestrello recalled that, about a year ago, PS challenged Luís Montenegro to establish a strategic agreement with the socialists in the Defense area. According to Perestrello, the Executive squandered this opportunity for inter-party collaboration.
Perestrello criticized the responses given by the Government, considering them meager and evasive in the face of the questions raised by the socialist bench. This situation worsened political tensions around defense contracts.
