Dried Fruit Fair brings together gastronomy, crafts and music in Alcantarilha

Alcantarilha hosts, between September 4 and 6, the 23rd edition of the Dry Fruits Fair, which returns to occupy Largo da Junta de Freguesia. The dry fruits, considered one of the Algarve's trademarks, take center stage at the event, which includes street entertainment, live music, crafts, sweets, food stalls and a space for children.

The initiative is co-organized by the Municipality of Silves and the Parish Council of Alcantarilha, with the support of the Fair Commission, made up of various local entities such as Casa do Povo, Sociedade Recreativa Alcantarilhense, the Parish of Alcantarilha, Santa Casa da Misericórdia and ALDEPA.

The program runs daily from 18:00. On Friday, Algarve Marafade, Valter & Canário and Duarte Almeida perform. On Saturday, Deejay Cabrita, Emanuel & Tânia and Iran Costra take the stage. On Sunday, the last day of the event, ALDEPA, Ruben Filipe and TVN perform.

The Municipality of Silves invites everyone to participate in this celebration of Algarve flavors and traditions, looking forward to welcoming the public at the Dry Fruits Fair in Alcantarilha.
