Hamburg secures Fábio Vieira permanently

RTP Notícias1 September 2026 at 13:40

Portuguese Fábio Vieira transferred permanently to Hamburg, a German club. The player was at Hamburg last season on loan, having represented the Germans during that period.

The transfer was made official by the two clubs involved: Hamburg and Arsenal, the English club the player belonged to. Arsenal loaned the Portuguese the previous season and now completed the permanent sale of the player.

Fábio Vieira, 24 years old, is a Portuguese midfielder who arrived at Arsenal in 2022, coming from FC Porto. During his time at Arsenal, he failed to establish himself as a starter, which led to the temporary loan to Hamburg.
