extra1 September 2026 at 12:11

At least 7,500 public security agents from Brazil's 27 state capitals and 81 cities in the interior participated this Wednesday (the 2nd) in a training day via simultaneous broadcast, focused on assisting women victims of violence.

The training is part of the so-called "Day C of Training," described by the Director of Education and Research at the National Secretariat for Public Security, Michele Gonçalves dos Ramos, as a major educational and national mobilization focused on assistance, protection, and gender perspective in public security. She explained that at least another two thousand professionals had already completed this course over the past three years.

The Minister of Justice and Public Security Wellington César Lima e Silva considered the training day fundamental to put protection initiatives into practice, emphasizing that trained professionals are necessary, since these agents work daily on the streets, at police stations, and in public services assisting the population.
