Charles Silva leaves Vitória SC after three seasons

The Brazilian goalkeeper Charles Silva left Vitória Sport Clube after three seasons, following the agreement to terminate his contract with Vitória Sport Clube – Futebol SAD. Native of Belo Horizonte, the player arrived in Guimarães for the 2023/24 season.

Over the three seasons at the Minho club, Charles Silva played 40 matches in the green and white jersey. The most outstanding moment of his tenure occurred in 2026, when Vitória won the League Cup for the first time.

In the Final Four of the competition, Charles Silva was decisive, taking particular prominence in the final against SC Braga. In stoppage time, in the 90+10th minute, the goalkeeper saved Zalazar's penalty and secured Vitória's victory, becoming one of the heroes of this historic conquest.

In a statement, Vitória Sport Clube – Futebol SAD thanked Charles Silva for the dedication and commitment shown throughout the three seasons, wishing the goalkeeper great success in the future, both professionally and personally.
