Sara Fernandes, a 28-year-old middle blocker from Póvoa de Varzim, is the new addition to the women's volleyball team of Vitória Sport Clube for the 2026/27 season. The player began her sporting career at CAR Taipense, where she remained until 2020, followed by stints at AVC Famalicão and Dumiense, a club she represented for three seasons. In 2024, she moved to Avense 78, from where she now joins Guimarães.
Sara Fernandes is the seventh signing of Vitória SC for the new season and will join the squad coached by Diogo Botto.
