The Municipal Council of Anadia approved the allocation of 163 thousand euros to 19 Private Institutions of Social Solidarity in the municipality. The support was defined based on criteria such as the social services provided by each institution, the number of users, participation in projects promoted by the Council, and collaboration in areas such as school social action.
The Municipality of Anadia recognizes IPSS as one of the main pillars of the Social Network of the municipality, highlighting that these institutions provide permanent and qualified social services that contribute to improving the living conditions of the population, preventing situations of exclusion and social isolation, supporting families, and promoting the autonomy and dignity of people.
The council also stated that the institutions have faced a significant increase in operating costs, namely with human resources, energy, food, fuels, and the acquisition of goods and services. With this support, the Municipality reaffirms its commitment to the social sector and to strengthening the partnership with the municipality's institutions.
