Amil Medicine Prize Opens Registrations for Unpublished Research

Brazilian doctors and authorized professionals already practicing in the country can now prepare to participate in the Amil Medicine Prize 2026. Registrations are opening today, the 1st, and will remain open until October 31 for unpublished research completed in Brazil between January 2023 and July 2026. Physicians who are authors of the studies and multidisciplinary teams may compete, as long as registration is submitted by one of the physicians — and there is no requirement to be part of Amil's provider network.

Created by Amil, the prize will recognize research in two areas considered strategic: Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Aging and Multimorbidity. A total of R$200,000 will be distributed among the winners.

The company states that recognizing those who produce knowledge is a way to strengthen Brazilian medicine, with the goal of increasing the visibility of research developed by physicians in the country and creating a permanent agenda for dialogue with the medical and scientific community.
