The regional commander of PSP in Madeira, Superintendent Ricardo Matos, today highlighted the fight against domestic violence, road accidents and drug trafficking as some of the main priorities of the Police, during the solemn commemorative session of the 148th anniversary of the Regional Command of PSP Madeira. The event took place at the Madeira Press Museum, in Câmara de Lobos.
Ricardo Matos presented these priorities before the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, and the municipal presidents who attended the ceremony. The solemn session marked the celebration of 148 years of the Regional Command of PSP Madeira.
During his speech, the commander emphasized the importance of these three areas of intervention in the police work developed in the region. The ceremony brought together the main local and national authorities to commemorate the history and work of PSP in Madeira.
