New TVDE regime law. Taxis can be integrated starting today

Taxis will be able to also operate as TVDE starting this Tuesday, provided they comply with the requirements applicable to vehicles assigned to this activity. This is one of the main changes in the new TVDE regime law that comes into force.

Video recording will now be possible in TVDE vehicles, a measure aimed at enhancing safety for both passengers and drivers. This change allows vehicles to be equipped with video cameras.

With the end of the dynamic pricing cap, TVDE service prices may increase during periods of higher demand. This measure raises concerns about the cost for users during peak demand periods.

The integration of taxis into the TVDE regime represents a significant change in the transport sector in Portugal, allowing taxi vehicles to also operate as paid passenger transport vehicles through digital platforms.

Participatory budget opens new edition with 280 thousand euros

The 12th edition of the participatory budget of the municipality of Vila Flor begins with a total allocation of 280 thousand euros, of which 250 thousand euros are destined for urban requalification and construction or requalification of public facilities, and 30 thousand euros for cultural and sports projects. The previous edition had 3,146 registered participants and 3,026 voters, with 117 proposals submitted since the first edition. The municipality invites the people of Vila Flor to submit new proposals for this edition.
