Air France-KLM announced the appointment of Manuel Flahault as the new general director for Portugal and Spain. This appointment represents a change in leadership of the airline for the Iberian Peninsula.
Manuel Flahault takes on this new role after serving as general director of Air France-KLM for Brazil and the Southern Cone. However, the press release does not specify how long Flahault was in charge of those operations in South America.
The countries that comprised his previous responsibilities included Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia, in addition to Brazil. The airline did not reveal information about who will replace Flahault in the leadership of South American operations.
The appointment comes at a time of reorganization of Air France-KLM's regional management structure, which has chosen to combine the Portuguese and Spanish markets under the same leadership.
