A father forgot his 10-year-old son at a service station during a journey. The child had gotten out of the car during a stop, but the father resumed the trip with his other son and a friend without noticing that the boy had been left behind.
The father only realized his son was missing about two and a half hours later, when he had already traveled more than 140 kilometres from the service station.
The child was left alone at the service station, not knowing what to do in the absence of his family. The article does not reveal if the boy was found or how the situation ended.
