Executive vacuum continues at AFPCE after new assembly without lists

Defesa de Espinho1 September 2026 at 10:14

The directive impasse at the Associação de Futebol Popular do Concelho de Espinho continues. At the general assembly held yesterday, August 31, no list was presented for the election of the governing bodies of the institution.

A new general assembly was scheduled for September 14, in order to give the affiliated clubs more time to gather and form a list to present to the vote. The majority of the clubs were present, with the exception of Quinta de Paramos.

The president of the general assembly, Rosária Vieira, appealed for consensus and dialogue among the associations so that they can find members to fill the positions on the governing bodies of the AFPCE.

It was also approved that the outgoing board president, Margarida Oliveira, would keep the association's Multibanco card for payment of the institution's commitments and current expenses.
