The Elevador da Glória accident has still not resulted, to date, in any disciplinary proceedings initiated by Carris. Almost a year after the tragedy, the Lisbon transport company has not yet opened any internal proceedings against those responsible for the incident. Carris, as the operator of the elevator, is the entity directly responsible for any disciplinary actions. The elevator, one of Lisbon's most iconic monuments, suffered an accident that resulted in casualties, but the investigations and corresponding processes have not progressed with regard to internal disciplinary measures.
