Social Security revealed the payment calendar for September, with dates spread throughout the month for pensions, subsidies and social benefits. Payments begin on September 3rd with pensions and subsidies associated with occupational illness, followed by rent support on September 7th and pensions, Solidarity Supplement for the Elderly, Funeral Expenses Reimbursement and Social Inclusion Payment on September 8th.
Mid-month sees important payments. On September 16th, the first payment of unemployment, sickness, parental and social action benefits is scheduled, as well as family benefits. On September 21st, the Food Guarantee Fund for Children is paid. Payments continue on September 23rd with Social Integration Income, the Wage Guarantee Fund and the Cultural Activity Suspension Subsidy, ending on September 28th with the second payment of unemployment, sickness, parental and social action benefits, as well as the Informal Caregiver Support Subsidy.
All payments will be made by bank transfer and postal order, with one exception. Rent support continues to be processed exclusively by bank transfer.
Social Security also recalls the existence of a simulator available on the Portal that allows checking which social benefits each citizen may be eligible for. The tool brings together over 40 social benefits and uses a set of questions to identify available benefits, then directs users directly to the online application forms.
