The Parish Council of Vila Nova de Milfontes celebrates this Tuesday, September 1st, the 640th anniversary of the town with a special program on Avenida Marginal, starting at 6:30 PM. The festive event includes an audio component that accompanies the scheduled activities. Vila Nova de Milfontes, located in the district of Beja, is one of the most iconic towns on the Alentejo coast, and this celebration marks over six centuries of history since its founding.
