Maitê Proença moved after 35 years residing at Chopin, a traditional building neighboring Copacabana Palace, in Rio de Janeiro. The actress now lives in a house surrounded by greenery, on a large property, inside a gated community in Rio's South Zone. She decided to stay in Rio de Janeiro because of her granddaughters, daughters of Maria, her sole heir.
The TV star showed her new kitchen in a photo posted on social media, with chickens roaming outside the window. "Look at them," Maitê wrote in the caption of the post, proving that she is indeed raising chickens at her new address.
With this move, Maitê Proença managed to fulfill her dream of having a "life in the countryside" without having to change cities or move to the mountains. The actress continues in Rio de Janeiro, but now in a more peaceful and natural environment than the traditional address she had occupied for more than three decades.
