The second edition of the Future Journalism course came to an end on Friday. The initiative is from GLOBO and its partners, aimed at training a new generation of professionals who combine talent with mastery of current techniques and technologies in the field.
The first edition of the course was one of the initiatives for GLOBO's centennial, held last year. In this second edition, the students went through a nearly four-week program, with immersion in the Integrated Newsroom across different sections of the newspaper.
During the program, students were able to suggest, develop, and publish special stories under the supervision and guidance of the newspaper's editors. The results have already started appearing in the pages of the newspaper.
In Sunday's edition, Ana Stobbe and Bruna Bittar showed the influence of betting in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Meanwhile, Cazzu Andrade and José Vieira explored how fandom culture integrates with the music industry during Rock in Rio.
