Vinaròs Carnival Loses Another Historic Comparsa: Dissolves After 40 Years

El Periódico Mediterráneo - General1 September 2026 at 05:20

Vinaròs Carnival has lost another historic comparsa, which confirmed its dissolution after completing 40 years in 2026 and will not participate in the next Carnestoltes. This is the second comparsa to disappear this year in the city.

The first comparsa to announce its end was Ni Fu Ni Fa, which also communicated its dissolution just a few weeks ago, also with a 40-year history.

Both comparsas disappeared due to the progressive loss of members over time, a problem that has affected the carnival traditions of the city.

This phenomenon represents a significant blow to the associative and cultural fabric of Vinaròs Carnival, which sees two groups with four decades of history depart in a short space of time.
