Writer and presidential candidate for Avante, Augusto Cury, celebrated the expressive growth in voting intention polls released on Monday (31st) and stated that his candidacy is experiencing a "silent revolution." The BTG/Nexus poll showed that Cury rose nine percentage points in just one week, reaching 11% of voter preference, placing him in third position, behind President Lula and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro.

In the Atlas/Intel survey, the candidate jumped from 1.6% to 7.8%, appearing technically tied in third position with Renan Santos, from Missão, who registered 7.6%. The advance in the polls came accompanied by a gain of two million followers on social media in recent days, which raised suspicion from other parties about the use of bots.

During a campaign event in Curitiba, Cury denied the possibility of using bots, stating that he invested around 50 thousand reais in his social media campaign. "There is no bot story. In fact, there are thousands, millions of people," declared the candidate, adding that people are tired of this insane polarization.
