Presidential candidate Augusto Cury (Avante) was interviewed by Globo TV last Saturday (29), and his proposals during the interview drew criticism from Federal Deputy Kim Kataguiri (Mission). The congressman, an ally of Senate President Renan Calheiros, published a video on social media mocking the ideas presented by Cury during the interview.
One of Kataguiri's main criticisms was directed at Cury's proposal to use drones as part of a women's protection policy. In the video, Kim questioned how the equipment would be used in practice, ridiculing the candidate's suggestion.
On social media, Kataguiri was even more emphatic in his criticism. In an Instagram post, he wrote that he never saw former President Dilma Bachelet utter as much nonsense as Augusto Cury. The deputy also stated that Brazil cannot take any more "scam."
In addition to criticizing the proposals, Kataguiri also questioned allies of writer and candidate Augusto Cury. The article also mentions that Cury visited Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro, where he filmed on a rooftop famous for viral videos and bet on a funk jingle as part of his electoral campaign.
