Torrential rains caused a flash flood at the Grand Canyon, in Arizona, one of the largest tourist attractions in the United States. The speed and force of the waters surprised both tourists and employees at the site.
Two people died as a result of the flood. Another 15 people are missing after the incident.
Local authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident and conducting search and rescue operations in the affected region.
