Sudden floods hit the Grand Canyon on Saturday afternoon, triggering an emergency situation in the region. The floods were caused by intense rains that hit the area unexpectedly.
At least one person died as a result of the flooding, while fifteen others remain missing. Rescue teams continue working on search operations to locate the missing.
