Felipe VI meets with Sánchez in their first encounter after summer vacation

King Felipe VI and the president of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, met this afternoon for the first time after summer vacation. The meeting took place in one of their usual working offices.

The Spanish government reported that the meeting had been scheduled since before the summer. Sources from the Zarzuela Palace confirmed the information to the EFE news agency.

This was the first contact between the monarch and the president of the Government after the summer rest period.
