The 10-year-old boy Adriano Álvaro Melo, diagnosed with high abilities, is not studying and is living in a municipal shelter in Rio de Janeiro. His situation and that of his mother, Priscila de Melo, was revealed by the newspaper GLOBO this Monday. The family lost the apartment where they lived after the mother was diagnosed at the end of last year with drug-resistant tuberculosis.

After the story went public, a solidarity network began to form to help the boy and his mother. Several people contacted Priscila interested in making donations. A Pix key was made available in the boy's name (19252032711, Banco do Brasil) for those who want to contribute.

On social media, several users expressed interest in creating a crowdfunding campaign to help the family. Additionally, the boy's mother is in talks with the production team of the Domingão com Huck show on TV Globo for a possible participation by Adriano in the upcoming season of the "Little Geniuses" segment.
