Gaia City Council approved the purchase of 91 dwellings under the Housing Access Support Programme of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). The total investment includes 6.2 million euros in support.
The applications were approved by the Institute for Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU), the entity responsible for managing the housing programme.
With this measure, the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia aims to strengthen the supply of affordable housing in the territory, supporting families in accessing their own home.
The approval comes in the context of the PRR, which includes a specific financing line for housing projects aimed at populations with difficulties in accessing housing.
