Explosion at fireworks factory in India kills 11 and injures five

At least 11 people died and five were injured following an explosion at a fireworks factory in India. The incident occurred in Prayagraj and caused a large number of fatalities among the local population.

The deceased were neighbors of the factory, and not workers of the establishment. The deceased died while receiving medical treatment at SRN Hospital in Prayagraj, where they were taken after the explosion.

The five injured continue to receive medical care at the same hospital. Magistrate Amit Pal, cited by the PTI news agency, confirmed the data on the victims and the severity of the accident.
