The fifth edition of Blockchain RIO took place between August 11 and 13 in Rio de Janeiro, bringing together regulators, financial institutions, technology companies, infrastructure providers, investors, startups and global leaders. The event reached 29,096 people between in-person participation and online audience, with 496 registered speakers, 94 sponsors, approximately 60 exhibition booths and 40 startups presented to the market. The program was distributed across 11 stages.
The event sent a clear signal about the maturation of the blockchain and digital assets market in Latin America. The discussion is no longer focused on demonstrating the potential of technology, but on defining how it will be integrated, with security, liquidity, interoperability and scale, into financial infrastructure and the real economy.
Blockchain RIO 2026 transformed Rio de Janeiro into a convergence point for some of the main discussions that will define the coming years of the sector in the region.
