A 10-year-old boy was left behind at a service area in Spain after he got out of the car without his family noticing. The child reportedly got out of the vehicle inadvertently, allowing the family to continue their journey without realizing his absence.

The family only realized the boy was missing when they were alerted by the Guardia Civil. By this time, they were already about 140 kilometres away from the location where the child had been left behind.

The Spanish authorities managed to locate the child at the service area, ensuring his well-being until the family returned to pick him up. The incident occurred while they were travelling in Spanish territory.
