The demand for home automation technologies registered significant growth in the first half of 2026. According to data from the company Infracommerce, sales of home automation-related products increased 37% in this period, when compared to the same semester of 2025. This growth reflects a growing trend of consumers seeking solutions to make home management more efficient.
Among the most sought-after products are automated equipment, programmable appliances and connected devices, which allow performing various tasks autonomously or on a schedule, including during the night while residents rest.
The trend became popular on social media under the expression "sleep while your home works," showing a broader transformation in consumption behaviors. Consumers are increasingly focused on convenience, time savings and efficiency when making purchasing decisions.
