Portugal will present a revolutionary textile project worth 112 million euros at the United Nations headquarters in New York on September 10. The initiative coincides with the major international fashion weeks.
The Lusitanian Project emerges within the framework of a mobilizing agenda created in the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), with the aim of revolutionizing the national textile and clothing industry.
The event at the UN represents an opportunity for Portugal to demonstrate to the international community the advances in the Portuguese textile sector, positioning the country as a leader in innovation in this field.
