Chega will hold meetings this Monday and Tuesday of party organs for a "final decision" on the presentation of a motion of censure to the Government. These meetings come after days of political tension related to the Minister of Internal Administration.
Last week, the leader of Chega, André Ventura, had already admitted to proceeding with the motion of censure if the prime minister did not resolve the situation of the Minister of Internal Administration. Ventura considered that the situation had reached a "grotesque" and "unacceptable" level.
The party is now gathering its organs to debate and take a definitive decision on the matter, at a time of growing political pressure on the Executive.
