The Plenary of the National Justice Council (CNJ) unanimously approved the agency's budget proposal for 2027, including the granting of the 8% salary increase for Judiciary employees. The analysis of the 2027 Annual Budget Bill (PLOA) took place during the 11th Ordinary Session of 2026, in early August. The information was disclosed by the National Federation of Workers of the Federal Judiciary and Public Prosecutor's Office (Fenajufe).
The 8% increase applies to permanent and commissioned positions, as well as commissioned functions. Among the permanent positions benefiting from the increase are judicial assistant, judicial technician, and judicial analyst. In the case of commissioned positions, the increase covers positions CJ-1, 2, 3, and 4.
The maintenance of this provision in the budget draws attention because President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva vetoed the increase for the years 2027 and 2028. According to the federal government, the measure would be implemented "in periods after the end of the President's term," which is prohibited by law. The increase is provided for in Law 15.293/2025.
