André Ventura, leader of Chega, announced that he is postponing until Tuesday the decision on whether the party will proceed with a motion of censure against the Government, after hearing the new explanations from the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves.
Ventura stated that if the minister presents an unbelievable explanation about the matter in question, he himself will make a public "mea culpa", acknowledging his mistake.
However, the leader of Chega considered that the probability of such an explanation being presented is low, suggesting that he maintains his doubts about the minister's conduct.
The party thus expects to hear Luís Neves's clarifications before taking a definitive position on the future of the motion of censure against the Executive.
